The Undertaker's Treachery- (994 kb Flash 6) Thrill to the spooky mini-epic based on the hit song by my band, Takimoto. This is an Old West murder ballad and cautionary tale brought to life in an animated version of the shadow puppetry performed live in concert by the band and friends.
I love the song and hope you put the cd out soon. The only critique I have the pictures dont mesh with what the narrator is saying. But I do like the concept and the song. I honestly dont know if you have any music on the radio yet, but I hope you do soon. I think you will b big.
hmmm... sorry for the drooling adulation as opposed to the Advanced Critique that was requested here, but that's your band you linked to, right? i've been listening to some of the sounds, and am really digging it.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, that's us and God, those songs are old! We are heading into a studio next week to do some real work, so there will be new stuff to listen to soon. I checked out your music page, and I capital L Love your "Just Passing Through" number. Can I use it for the soundtrack of my new Flash movie? I've been looking for something moody, and instantly thought it would work!
sure... if you can use it, go ahead! i've got a downloadable mp3 in storage somewhere, so i'll send ya the link to that if you like (as soon as i figure out where i stashed it!).
new stuff soon, eh? hmmm... i'll keep my ear to the ground then. other than writing music, my favorite passtime is The Search For The Perfect Song from sources other than the Billboard charts, ya know? i love my indie bands, small label bands, forgotten bands of the '60s... etc. i'm really liking Simulated Recreation right now. it simultaneously reminds me of The Stooges, The Cure, and JJ72.
verty good!!! The idea of having the characters as just shadows is good! The music fits it prefectly, which is essential when you are making a movie that is based on music. (Like mine. xD) the Drwaings are simple, but again, it looks great with the enviroment your showing. Nice work!
The only downfall, but It affects only few now a days.. It doesn't have a preloader.. So it would load a bit, play it, load somemore, than play a biut more. Which was a bit dissapointing. But other than that, (since I know very little people still use dial up) great work!
I really liked how you showed the wire on some things as if they were really puppets.
oh and your band is cool cause you have a slide guitarr.
